A box of Fondabee fondant contains 5 x 2.5 kg. Fondabee is a ready-to-use fondant in a 2.5 kg pack. The fondant is an optimal blend of sugars for bees, so they take it up steadily. The fondant is firm so it does not run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict human food standards. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different ratio. A high HMF content is toxic to bees.

You can easily feed the fondant to the bees by piercing/cutting an opening in the pack with your hive tool. Then fold back or tear off the plastic flap and place the hole over the feeder hole of the inner cover.

This product is equivalent to Ambrosius fondant and Apifonda.
