Sometimes your colony is a bit irritable or more defensive, or you simply want to work your bees with extra protection. Then arm and leg protectors (also called gaiters) can be very handy. These arm and/or leg protectors add just that extra protection over your lower legs and ankles and trousers and over your forearms and sleeves, making it harder for bees to get into your bee suit via your trousers or sleeves.

Leg gaiters
These are ideal for the ankles. Wear the leg gaiters over your boots or shoes and trousers. This gives you an extra layer that makes it harder for bees to reach your ankles and socks. Our leg gaiters have an elastic strap that goes over the heel of your boot or shoe and an elastic that closes neatly around your leg.
