Fondabee fondant per 2.5 kg

Fondabee fondant is a ready-to-use bee fondant in a 2.5 kg pack. The fondant consists of an ideal sugar blend for bees so they take it up steadily. The fondant is nicely firm so it doesn’t run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict human food standards. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different ratio. A high HMF content is toxic to bees.

You can feed the fondant easily by using your hive tool to pierce/cut an opening in the packaging. Then fold back or tear off the plastic tab and place the hole over the feed hole in the crown board.
