Who is behind Beekeepershop.com?

Beekeepershop.com was founded by me, Chiel Versluijs, with the goal of providing beekeeping materials as sustainably as possible and making beekeeping accessible to everyone. After a long-standing fascination with bees and insects, I started beekeeping in 2005. Alongside my beekeeping hobby, I conducted a research study for my master's degree on bees at bijen@wur. This study examined the effects of feeding bees sugar water and fondant, and the differences in pollen and vitellogenin in bee blood.
