A spare beekeeping veil for working your bees is always handy. Whether for yourself or a curious visitor, (observer) veils come in various styles: from a simple hooded veil to a roomy round bee veil with support rings, so the bees can’t get close and there’s plenty of ventilation in the veil. Choose the beekeeping veil that suits you!

Round hoods

A round hood is often worn by beginner beekeepers and by those who like some welcome shade while working. The advantage of a round hood is that you can keep the bees farther away from your head. With a round beekeeping veil with spacer ring, the veil mesh stays at a safe distance from your face, giving you even better protection.

English veils

The English veil is ideal for the experienced beekeeper. You get better visibility because the veil sits closer to your face. It also takes up less space. Want a bit more protection? Then choose a separate English beekeeping veil with bib. This veil features a bib with armholes and seals closely to the body.

Beekeeping hat

Prefer a classic beekeeping hat? Then our straw beekeeping hat might be just right for you. This bee hat is available in two versions, for men and women. Want to buy a beekeeping hat? We recommend adding a net/veil. For this, we recommend the combo set of a pith helmet with beekeeping net.

Children's veil

Want to let children observe in the apiary? We now also have a colorful standalone children's beekeeping veil with bee motif. This cheerful beekeeping veil is smaller than a standard veil and is made specifically for children.

American veil

The American beekeeping veil is rectangular and features armholes, so it can be worn snugly over clothing. The American veil also folds easily, making it ideal on the go or for observers at the apiary. This veil is also available from us in yellow, or as a round model (white).

Monk's hood

A monk's hood is a diamond-shaped veil for observers in the apiary, by BeeFun. The monk's hood is made of sturdy cotton and is easy to put on and take off.

Head net

Do you like to work as a beekeeper with a cap/baseball cap, but still want protection for your face and neck/throat? We also have head nets especially for beekeepers who like to wear a cap while working in the apiary. The head net can be closed at the bottom with a drawcord and folds up easily.
