English or round hood?

Most beginning beekeepers prefer a beekeeping jacket with a round hood, as it sits a bit farther from your head and provides pleasant shade to work in. An English hood is more often worn by experienced beekeepers, because it gives you a better view of your colony since the hood sits closer to your face. 

 

Children's jackets

We also offer beekeeping jackets for children. These are available in sizes 116, 128, 146 and 158. These jackets are made from lightweight, tightly woven cotton and come with a round hood. Our children's jackets provide excellent protection for kids who want to observe at the apiary. We also have suits, gloves and separate hoods for children. Size chart

Not sure which size to choose? Feel free to check our size chart. Here you will find all the measurements you need to determine which size suits you (item 2605). However, in general you can stick to your usual clothing size such as S, M, L, XL, etc. Still unsure with the size chart or do you need advice? Broken part?
