Beekeeping trousers

Alongside wearing a beekeeping jacket, beekeeping trousers are also very practical. They ensure you’re extra well protected against bee stings (thanks to the drawstrings and fabric). As our beekeeping trousers have elasticated ankles, they seal securely so no bees can crawl inside. Beekeeping trousers are a great solution for working your bees and they also look highly professional. The trousers are available in heavy and lightweight fabric, in sizes XS to XXL, and are unisex. Thanks to the elasticated waistband, the trousers will fit a broad range of sizes. Do you already know our ‘AirFree’ trousers? These trousers feature 3 layers for top protection combined with excellent ventilation.

Single or 3-layer protection?

Looking for robust beekeeping trousers for working your bees? Our Deluxe Beekeeping Trousers are made from tightly woven cotton and provide excellent basic protection. It has two pockets at the front and two at the back. Prefer a bit of extra protection? We also offer the Beekeeping Trousers ‘AirFree’. These trousers are 3-layer: a fine inner and outer mesh fabric with a spacer layer that prevents a bee’s stinger from reaching your skin. This allows air to move freely through the garment, while bees still cannot sting through it. Both versions are available in White and Khaki.

Work apron

A work apron is the ideal accessory to pair with beekeeping trousers. The apron features 11 pockets in various sizes and a sturdy adjustable strap. Our range of work aprons includes two types: a fabric version in black and a leather version in brown. Ideal for keeping all your beekeeping tools within easy reach while working your bees.

Dirty clothing

If, during hard work with your colony, you get propolis on your clothing and it sticks to everything, it’s difficult to wash out. What’s the best way to clean it? In our experience, freezing your clothing works best. You can then easily flake the propolis off.
