Beekeeping trousers 

Besides wearing a beekeeping jacket, beekeeping trousers are also very practical. They provide extra protection against bee stings (thanks to the drawstrings and the fabric). As our beekeeping trousers have an elastic cord at the ankle, the trousers seal securely and no bee can crawl inside. Beekeeping trousers are a great solution for working your bees and they also look very professional. The trousers are available in heavyweight and lightweight fabric, in sizes XS to XXL, and are unisex. Thanks to the elastic waistband, the trousers fit a range of sizes comfortably. Single-layer or 3-layer protection?

Looking for durable beekeeping trousers for working your bees? Our Deluxe Beekeeping Trousers are made from tightly woven cotton and offer excellent basic protection. They feature two pockets on both the front and the back. Prefer a little extra protection? We also have the ‘AirFree’ Beekeeping Trousers. These trousers are made of 3 layers: a fine inner and outer layer of mesh fabric with an intermediate layer that prevents the bee’s stinger from reaching your skin. This allows air to move freely through the garment, while bees still can’t sting through it. Both versions are available in White and Khaki.

Work apron

A work apron is the ideal accessory to pair with your beekeeping trousers. The apron features 11 pockets in various sizes and a sturdy adjustable strap. Our range of aprons includes two types: a fabric version in black and a leather version in brown. Perfect for keeping all your beekeeping tools close at hand when you’re working your bees.

Dirty clothing

If you end up with propolis on your clothing while working your colony and it sticks to everything, it can be hard to wash out. What’s the best way to clean it? In our experience, freezing your clothing works best. You can then easily chip the propolis off.
