Dadant US hive frames and beeswax foundation
Dadant US hive frames are widely used in the Netherlands today. Dadant US frames are among the largest frame sizes available. Because of their size, they are highly valued by beekeepers working with bee strains that maintain a large brood nest, such as Carniolan bees and Buckfast bees. The advantage of these frames is that a colony can be kept on a single brood box. The downside is that this brood box is heavier. These frames and beeswax foundation fit Dadant US beehives.
