Fondabee Fruc sugar fondant per 1 kg

FondabeeFruc bee fondant is a ready-to-use bee fondant in a 1 kg pack. The ideal pack for 3-frame nucs, MiniPlus nuc boxes, etc. The fondant is distinguished by the addition of 3% fructose. This makes it more resistant to hot and very cold weather (it retains its softness). Naturally, it contains the ideal mix of sugars for bees so they take it readily. The fondant is nicely firm so it doesn’t run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict human food standards. Note: cheaper brands sometimes use a different ratio. A high HMF content is toxic to bees.

You can feed the fondant easily by using your hive tool to pierce or cut an opening in the pack. Then fold back or tear off the plastic tab and place the hole over the feed hole in the crown board.
