Box of sugar fondant with 5 x 2.5 kg FondabeeFruc. FondabeeFruc is a ready-to-use sugar fondant in a 2.5 kg package. The sugar fondant is distinguished by the addition of 3% fructose. This ensures it is more resistant to hot and very cold weather (it maintains its softness). Of course, it also consists of the ideal mix of sugars for the bees so they can consume it well. The sugar fondant is firm enough that it doesn't run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. FondabeeFruc is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict regulations for human consumption. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different ratio. A high HMF content is toxic to bees.
You can easily feed the sugar fondant to the bees by piercing/cutting an opening in the packaging with the hive tool. Then fold or tear off a plastic tab and place the hole on the feeding hole of the crown board.
