FondabeeFruc fondant candy per 2.5 kg

FondabeeFruc candy is a ready-to-use sugar paste in a 2.5 kg package. The ideal package for 6-frame or 10-frame hives. This candy distinguishes itself by the addition of 3% fructose. This ensures it is more resistant to hot and very cold weather (it maintains its softness). Of course, it consists of the ideal mix of sugars for bees so they can readily consume it. The candy is nicely firm so it doesn't run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict regulations for human consumption. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different ratio. A high HMF content is toxic to bees.

You can easily feed the candy to the bees by poking/cutting an opening in the packaging with your hive tool. Then fold or tear off a plastic tab and place the hole over the feeding hole in the crown board.
