MiteZapper

Always wanted to control the Varroa mite without pesticides and easily? Then maybe the MiteZapper is something for you? The MiteZapper is an electronic system with the Dutch simplex size. The MiteZapper works quickly and easily. It can be reused because the cells are not damaged. But what exactly is the MiteZapper? The MiteZapper is a darter made of plastic coated with beeswax. The bees build dartrate on it and by heating rather than cutting away these cells, the Varroa mites are killed without chemicals, one of the great advantages of the MiteZapper. The MiteZapper is very effective because research has proven that the Varroa mite is 10-12 times more likely to reproduce in darter brood than in worker brood. Up to 20 Varroa females can invade a drone cell. By killing the Varroa mite in the dummy brood, the Varroa infection can be well controlled.
