Beautiful beehive for the true hobby beekeeper. The hive features an iconic peaked roof and is supplied with a glass crown board so you can easily observe the bees. The hive also includes standard simplex hive frames (linden wood, without beeswax foundation). The hive is made of pine.
This pine spaarkast (simplex) consists of the following parts:
- 1 peaked roof for the spaarkast
- 1 glass crown board (without feed hole)
- 2 honey supers (incl. 10-frame aluminium spacer strips)
- 2 sets of assembled super frames made of pine
- 2 brood boxes (incl. 10-frame aluminium spacer strips)
- 2 sets of assembled brood frames made of pine
- 4 sets of nails for spacer strips
- 1 bottom board (Varroa)
This hive comes with standard 10-frame aluminium spacer strips.
In addition to this beautiful beehive, you also receive a handy hive record card for tracking data of the bee colony.
Note: don’t forget to order a queen excluder as well if you need one.
