The ideal pack size for 3-frame nucs and MiniPlus hives, etc. The fondant is an ideal blend of sugars for bees so they take it up steadily. The fondant is firm so it does not run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict food-grade standards. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different ratio. A high HMF level is toxic to bees.

You can feed the fondant to the bees easily by punching/cutting an opening in the packaging with the hive tool. Then fold back or tear off the plastic flap and place the hole over the feed hole of the crown board.
