One of our finest wax melting pans in the range. This double-walled melting/pouring pan, with lid, is very sturdy and made of stainless steel (SS). Ideal for melting beeswax due to its double wall that is filled with water. This heats the wax "au bain Marie. The melted wax can then be poured into a mold or candles can be pulled out with this wax melting/pouring pan. The wax can also be poured over into a small, handy, gietkannetje. The inner pan is 14 cm high and has an internal diameter of 13.5 cm and external of 16 cm (without handle). The capacity is over 1.5 liters. Filled to the brim: 1750 ml. The advantage of the stainless steel pan over an aluminum pan is that stainless steel does not react with beeswax and food. The melting pan also works on an induction stove and for safety reasons we recommend using the pan on an electric stove (no open flame).
Advice: Before each use, check that there is still enough water in the melting pan's reservoir!

How do you use the double-walled wax melting ladle?
A double-walled stainless steel beeswax melting and pouring pan makes it easy to melt wax to pour beeswax candles. A real beekeeper cannot do without this handy jug with a cap for the pouring spout.
- Remove the metal cap to fill the double-walled stainless steel ladle with water.
- Fill the inner chamber with water to below the sealing cap.
- Replace the metal cap on the filler neck.
- Place the wax to be melted in the ladle and place it on an appropriate heat source.
- Turn on the heating source and wait for the wax to melt.
- Use a thermometer to check the temperature of the wax.
To avoid shrinking of the laundry, when cooled, the laundry should not be warmer.

- While heating the wax melt ladle, there should always be sufficient water in the
interior to be. This will prevent the pan from boiling dry.
CAUTION: refill the interior of the wax melting ladle with water regularly as you melt wax!
