One of the finest wax melting pans in our range. This double-walled melting/pouring pan with lid is very sturdy and made of stainless steel (SS). Ideal for melting beeswax thanks to its double wall, which is filled with water. This heats the wax 'au bain-marie'. The melted wax can then be poured into a mold with this wax melting/pouring pan, or you can dip candles. You can also pour the wax into a small, handy, pouring jug. The inner height of the pan is 14 cm, with an internal diameter of 13.5 cm and an external diameter of 16 cm (without handle). Capacity is just over 1.5 liters. Filled to the brim: 1750 ml. An advantage of a stainless steel pan over an aluminum pan is that stainless steel does not react with beeswax or food. The melting pan also works on an induction cooktop and, for safety, we recommend using the pan on an electric cooktop (no open flame).

Advice: Before each use, check that there is sufficient water in the reservoir of the melting pan!

We wish you lots of pouring fun making beautiful beeswax candles!

How do you use the double-walled wax melting and pouring pot?

With a double-walled stainless steel beeswax melting and pouring pot, you can easily melt wax to pour beeswax candles. No apiary can do without this handy little jug with a cap for the pouring spout.

  1.     Remove the metal cap to fill the double-walled stainless steel pouring pot with water.
  2.     Fill the inner chamber with water up to just below the sealing cap.
  3.     Place the metal cap back on the fill opening.
  4.     Place the wax to be melted in the pouring pot and set it on a suitable heat source.
  5.     Switch on the heat source and wait for the wax to melt.
  6.     Check the wax temperature with a thermometer.

To avoid shrinkage of the wax as it cools, do not heat the wax above

     70°C.

  1.     During heating of the wax melting and pouring pot, there must always be sufficient water in the

inner chamber. This prevents the pot from boiling dry.

NOTE: regularly top up the inner chamber of the wax melting and pouring pot with water while melting wax!
