Dathe pipe (large)

This 12 cm tall Dathe pipe is made of aluminium. The advantage of a Dathe pipe, compared to a smoker, is that your hands are free while working your bees. A pipe-hole leather grommet and cork sleeve can be ordered separately. This Dathe pipe weighs about 175 grams.

By sewing two pipe-hole leather grommets back-to-back with the mesh in between, installation is easier and the opening, for the Dathe pipe, is more robust in use.
