Inner canister for the mini smoker

Inner can for Mini smoker. This stainless steel inner can is 145 mm high incl. pin and has a diameter of 72 mm. Ideal as an addition to the small smoker. The inner can ensures even better oxygen access to the fuel.

How to light a smoker?
Start with a readily combustible base. First place a wad of paper/dried leaves/pine needles (and optionally a smoke block) in the smoker and light it so that an open flame develops, which you build with the bellows. Gently smother this strong flame with tobacco (or smoke pellets). Keep pumping well with the bellows at the start. Especially for smoke pellets you need a really good fire. Then close the lid and pump regularly to keep the smoker going. Aim to produce ample amounts of cool, white smoke. Do not use blue smoke; it is too hot, can cause irritation, and can singe the bees’ wings. The herbal tobacco / smoke blocks are a bit easier for beginner beekeepers.
