FondabeeFruc bee fondant per 2.5 kg

FondabeeFruc bee fondant is a ready-to-use sugar fondant in a 2.5 kg pack. The ideal pack size for 6-frame or 10-frame hives. The fondant stands out thanks to the addition of 3% fructose. This makes it more resistant to hot and very cold weather (it retains its softness). Naturally, it contains the ideal mix of sugars for bees so they take it readily. The fondant is nicely firm so it doesn’t run out of the bag. Composition is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict human food standards. Note: cheaper brands sometimes use a different composition. A high HMF content (hydroxymethylfurfural) is toxic to bees.

You can easily feed the fondant to the bees by piercing/cutting an opening in the packaging with your hive tool. Then fold back or tear off the plastic tab and place the hole over the feed hole of the crown board.
