Practical protective cage against hornets, specially made for Belgian simplex beehives. This protective cage is made of wood with sturdy mesh that bees can fly through, but hornets cannot.

The protective cage has an external width of 50.7 cm, and the internal dimensions that fit over the landing board and hive entrance are 46.5 cm wide and 10.7 cm high. The mesh size is 8 mm.
