Program workshop on beeswax
Around 10:00 am, while enjoying coffee and tea, we will begin a brief introduction about beeswax. After this we will divide into small groups and get to work quickly. Each group will have a number of options to choose from to start with. These include making: molded/drawn/rolled (decorated) candles and tea lights, cream, "fire bombs," beeswax light boxes for tea lights, lip balm, cutting board wax and sugar scrub. The program is subject to change and may change slightly.
The workshop includes:
- Coffee, tea, water, snacks throughout the day
- Delicious lunch
- Use of beeswax (fair use policy)
- Wick usage
- Use of other material
- Teaching materials and recipes
- Made ointments, creams etc.
- Packaging for lip balm, creams, etc.
- Use of molds
