Steam wax melter for the hive

With this universal steam wax smelter you can melt your wax from your windows very easily. This smelter fits into an incubator of the thrift store size and many other cabinets. By placing a roof and an extra incubator / honey chamber on the incubator and placing a collection tray (for the melted wax) under the incubator you make sure that the cabinet is closed. This allows the steam to remain in the hive and the wax will automatically melt from the windows placed in the incubator.

This steam wax melter measures 50 x 50 cm and is 14 cm high. The outer edge of the melter thus protrudes from the brood chamber of the saving hive, but because of this it seals well. It will fit in any hive where it can lie on the edge of the hive. This will be an outside size of the hive of about 51.5 x 51.5 cm. The steam scrubber comes with a steam master II and inside the steam scrubber is a grate for collecting debris.
