Bee Gym

The Bee Gym is a small ingenious device consisting of two lines and multiple flaps. These lines and flaps allow the bee to scratch itself. The Bee Gym is placed behind the entrance on the mesh of the beehive/bottom board. The bees that walk through it will scratch themselves and can also scratch themselves on the flaps. It appears that bees sometimes make an extra round to scratch themselves. By scratching, bees can get rid of varroa and other mites, which fall through the mesh bottom and the bee is free of them.
