Formic acid 85% of the brand Formivar per 1 liter (registered for sale in the Netherlands). Formic acid is used during the treatment of Varroa mites. Formivar is suitable for use in severe and very severe Varroa infestations, which corresponds to a natural varroa mite infestation of approx. 10 dead varroa per day. Formivar works quickly and penetrates into the capped brood cells. This formic acid is also recommended as an emergency treatment. Formivar formic acid is a product of Andermatt Biovet.
