Selective funnel caps 8.4 mm for yellow entrances Asian hornet trap Deluxe

Selective caps that you can attach to the yellow entrances for the Asian hornet trap Deluxe (#8997). These caps have a passage size of 8.4 mm. This makes the trap selective, allowing Asian hornet queens to enter the trap, while making it virtually impossible for European hornet queens. Of course, smaller insects can still enter the trap, but they can escape through the top of the trap!

When ordering this product, you will receive two selective caps, intended for the Asian hornet trap Deluxe (#8997). The yellow entrance gates shown in the image are included in the hornet trap and are not supplied when you order these caps.

These caps are also available in 8 mm size for making the trap more selective in autumn. This primarily catches Asian hornet workers and not European hornet workers.
