By investing in this trailer, you can transport all the essentials for maintaining bee colonies, plus up to 8 complete beehives on a dedicated platform. On this platform you mount the beehives, and you can place them, platform and all, safely and conveniently at a location. Construction of the trailer
The 2-axle trailer with side panels and beehive platforms is specially designed to ensure the safety of bee colonies during transport. The A-frame drawbar extends all the way to the front axle of this tandem-axle trailer. As a result, the trailer is extra strong and rated for heavy loads. All components are hot-dip galvanized to ensure durability and corrosion resistance. The trailer is supplied complete with a jockey wheel and a license plate holder.
(Scale) platform for beehives
The trailer can be supplied with a platform on which you can mount up to 8 beehives. This lets you easily set your colonies to fly at different locations. Once you have moved the beehives to a new site, this platform serves as a rack. You can order multiple platforms to work as efficiently as possible.
The platforms are also available with an integrated weighing module. This allows the beekeeper to monitor hive weight remotely and draw conclusions about what is happening in the apiary. By tracking this weight daily, you get insight into how the bees are consuming feed. These platforms with scale also include an anti-theft sensor that, in the event of sudden weight loss, immediately sends an SMS with 'MASS LOSS'.
