How do you use swarm creams?
Apply the cream to a piece of wood, preferably oak bark. You put such a piece of wood in a tree, for example, or apply the cream to the outside of an empty cabinet without windows. Hang oak bark or bait box within 5-10 meters of the current hives. The bees will then smell the scent making it more likely that they will choose this spot as their new home. The cream is effective for about a week. If the wood has become wet from rain then it is best to reapply the bait.
