Seeds of lucerne (Medicago sativa). This leguminous bee forage plant is suitable for all soils except acidic soils. In Dutch, “alfalfa” is the name for the sprout vegetable (germinated seeds) of lucerne. Best sowing time: mid-April to mid-June.
