Roof for the Simplex beehive in Belgian format, made from excellent quality pine wood, with a galvanized metal lid/plate for superior protection. The end grain is finished to prevent moisture from penetrating the wood. For the preservation of your equipment, we recommend priming and painting the hive parts twice or treating them thoroughly with linseed oil.
