Segeberger spacer rim

Intermediate board (ring) for the Segeberger hive. The intermediate board is often used in combination with the filler block and a bee escape, so the honey super can be removed from the Segeberger hive with minimal disturbance. It can also be used as a 2nd entrance or for colony separation. Complete this intermediate board with the filler block and optionally the round bee escape.

The intermediate board can also be used as a uniting screen and as a 2nd entrance for the hive. When using it as a 2nd entrance you will need to make an extra opening in the intermediate board, and if you want to use the intermediate board as a uniting screen you will also need veil mesh or another mesh.
