ApiPollen feed for honey bees is specially developed as a substitute for natural pollen. You can easily supplement the protein in the beehive and help the bees strengthen during periods when pollen is scarce. This will guaranteed improve the development of the bee colony, regardless of weather conditions. The feed is easy to administer through a feeding frame in the hive or by means of a feeder silo. Choose our pollen substitute to provide your honey bees with the necessary nutrition to increase their health and resistance. The convenient bucket contains 2 kg of pollen substitute. This product is comparable to Beefeed or Ultrabee.

The advantage of Apipollen is that the ingredients are perfectly balanced and adapted to the needs of the bees, without deficiencies or excesses. It contains: soy and yeast protein (58% pure protein), vitamins: B1, B2, B6, B12, PP, C, A, D3, E; mineral complex: Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Co, P, vegetable fats, essential herbal plant oils, citric acid, antioxidants, probiotic bacteria.

Note: do not leave the product in the beehive when there is no brood.

Applications ApiPollen
The use of special feed for pollen substitutes is recommended for bee colonies with brood.
Processing ApiPollen into patties:
Making patties/dough: Mix 175 g ApiPollen with 825 g sugar water (various combinations of honey, HFCS, sugar are possible), at temperatures up to 40°C. The consistency should be a paste that is processed in bags or sheets of wax paper and remains on top of the hive frames. This allows the bees to consume the feed properly.
Feeding ApiPollen as dry feed:
Place the product in a container with holes so the bees can pass through. Add a few pieces of wood or non-slip material to provide them shelter. Offer approximately 700 g of ApiPollen in dry form, per colony, and protect the product from wind and moisture.
Adding ApiPollen to sugar water, thus combining it with a liquid, unfortunately does not work well because the product can quickly start to ferment or become a very sticky substance that bees struggle to handle.
