This special pine starter spaarkast “easy grip” (Premium), made from high-quality pine, features convenient easy-grip handles. Thanks to the smart design, lifting is much easier! This is the ideal set for a beginner with a small colony and perfect for beekeepers who want hives that are easy to lift.

This Premium-quality beehive is made from the best quality pine; the box corners are flush-finished, preventing moisture ingress. You won’t easily find a better pine beehive! Choose from 4 different options:



Option 1 consists of:
- Roof spaarkast Premium pine aluminium (art. 5864)
- Spaarkast plastic crown board 47 x 42 cm (art. 1721)
- Brood box spaarkast easy grip Premium pine (art. 1042) 2 pcs
- Bottom board spaarkast Premium pine (art. 5734)
- Hive card (art. 2189)

Option 2 consists of option 1 + :
- Spacer strips 10-frame aluminium 1 mm (art. 1029-ALU) 4 pcs
- Nails for 2 spacer strips (art. 1681) 2 pcs

Option 3 consists of option 1, 2 + :
- Simplex brood box frames assembled pine horizontal 10 pcs (art. 5575) 2 pcs

- Beeswax foundation sheets embedded in the brood box frames

Embedding wax foundation are shipped at the customer’s risk due to the fragility of the embedded beeswax foundation.

Beekeeping tips:
Use linseed oil varnish (art. 1592) to treat your hive. This provides good protection against the weather!
