Pine Spaarkast Deluxe (frame size simplex). A great beehive for a new/small colony and ideal to start with as a beginner beekeeper. The hive is easy to expand with extra brood boxes and/or honey supers.
This premium wooden beehive is made from top-quality pine. The corners of the hive are mitered, which helps prevent moisture ingress. You won’t easily find a better pine beehive! Choose from 4 different options:
Option 1 consists of:

- Spaarkast plastic inner cover 47 x 42 cm (art. 1721)
- Spaarkast Premium pine brood box (art. 6059)
- Spaarkast Premium pine bottom board (art. 5734)
- Hive record card (art. 2189)
Option 2 consists of option 1 + :
- Spacer strips 10-frame aluminum 1 mm (art. 1029-ALU) 2 pieces
- Nails for 2 spacer strips (art. 1681) 1 piece
Option 3 consists of option 1, 2 + :
- simplex brood box frames assembled pine wired horizontally 10 pieces (art. 5575)
Option 4 consists of option 1, 2, 3 + :
- Beeswax foundation sheets embedded in the brood box frames
- Tie-down/travel strap 3.5 m bee yellow (BeeFun) (art. 2723)
Frames with embedded beeswax foundation are shipped at the customer’s risk due to the fragility of the embedded beeswax foundation.
Beekeeping tips:
Use linseed oil varnish (art. 1592) to treat your beehive. It provides good weather protection!
