One of our most beautiful wax melting pots from the assortment. This double-walled melting/pouring pot, with lid, is very sturdy and made of stainless steel. Ideal for melting beeswax due to its double wall that is filled with water. This heats the wax using the 'bain-marie' method. The melted wax can then be poured into a mold with this wax melting/pouring pot or candles can be drawn from it. The wax can also be poured into a small, handy pouring jug. The inside pot is 14 cm high and has an internal diameter of 13.5 cm and external diameter of 16 cm (without handle). The capacity is over 1.5 liters. Filled to the rim: 1750 ml. The advantage of the stainless steel pot compared to an aluminum pot is that stainless steel does not react with beeswax and food. The melting pot also works on an induction cooktop and for safety reasons, we advise using the pot on an electric cooktop (no open flame).

Advice: Before each use, check if there is sufficient water in the reservoir of the melting pot!

How to use the double-walled wax melting pouring pot?

With a double-walled beeswax melting and pouring pot made of stainless steel, you can easily melt wax to pour beeswax candles. A real beekeeping operation cannot do without this handy pot with a cap for the pouring spout.

  1. Remove the metal cap to fill the double-walled stainless steel pouring pot with water.
  2. Fill the inner chamber with water to just below the closing cap.
  3. Place the metal cap back on the filling opening.
  4. Place the wax to be melted in the pouring pot and place it on a suitable heat source.
  5. Turn on the heating source and wait for the wax to melt.
  6. Check the temperature of the wax with a thermometer.

To avoid the shrinking of wax during cooling, the wax should not be heated above

70 degrees.

  1. While heating the wax melting pouring pot, there should always be sufficient water in the

inner chamber to prevent the pot from boiling dry.

ATTENTION: regularly refill the inner chamber of the wax melting pouring pot with water when melting wax!
