The ideal 11-frame beehive for the beginning beekeeper who wants to keep bees with a lightweight hive. The BeeFun beehive is ready to use and unpainted (white). It is a completely redesigned model and has many advantages over the classic Segeberger. This BeeFun beehive is made of polystyrene with a density of 160g/liter. This dense compression creates a sturdier beehive than the Segeberger beehive, for example, making these hives extremely robust. Additionally, thanks to their clever design, they are even lighter than Segeberger beehives. The insulating capacity is also excellent.

This 11-frame beehive consists of the following components:

  • 1 Roof with feeding space
  • 1 Plastic crown board
  • 2 Brood boxes with extra flight entrances
  • 1 Bottom board
  • 1 Varroa tray
  • 1 Entrance reducer

The boxes in this beehive are equipped with strips instead of spacers. This makes sliding and moving the frames very easy. This beehive works optimally with Simplex Hoffmann frames or Simplex frames with spacers. Furthermore, the brood boxes are equipped with an extra flight entrance. These can be opened during good nectar flow and are then enthusiastically used by the bees. These flight entrances can also be closed or set to ventilation mode. This beehive is delivered ready to use, unpainted (white).
