The ideal 11-window hive for the beginning beekeeper who wants to start beekeeping with a lightweight hive. The BeeFun hive is ready-made and unpainted (white). It is a totally updated model and has many advantages over the classic Segeberger. This BeeFun hive is made of polystyrene and has a density of 160g/liter. This dense pressing makes for a sturdier hive than, for example, the Segeberger hive and makes these hives rock solid. In addition, their clever design makes them even lighter than, for example, the Segeberger hives. The insulating capacity is also excellent.

The chambers in this hive have strips instead of spacers. This makes sliding and moving the windows very easy. This hive comes into its own with Simplex Hoffmann windows or Simplex windows fitted with spacers. Furthermore, the brood chambers are equipped with an extra flight opening. These can be opened during good gestation and are then used by the bees with great pleasure. These flight openings can also be closed or put in ventilation position. This hive is delivered ready to use, unpainted (white).
