14 kg buckets filled with Invertbee (syrup). This bucket is supplied without a feeder lid. You can find a feeder lid with holes here so it can be placed directly on the hive. Another advantage of buckets is that they can be reused to pack honey. Invertbee is the best syrup feed for bees thanks to its relatively high fructose content of 36%. This fructose is readily taken up by bees and comes closest to the natural winter (honey) diet of the honey bee. The fructose percentage is higher than a standard syrup solution such as BeeSweet or Apisuc. Ideal for feeding and/or wintering a colony. 14 kg is sufficient for a colony of normal size (1.5 brood box (brood chamber) occupied). This invert sugar is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict regulations for human consumption.
