500 grams of bee bread supplied in jars or a tub, depending on availability. Bee bread is the bees’ stored form of pollen in the hive. The bees pack the pollen into the honeycomb and mix it with droplets of nectar. This creates hexagonal granules that gently acidify and are preserved by the bees. Bee bread is packed with vitamins and is a good source of protein. It also contains carbohydrates, fats, and many minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, sulfur, manganese, silicon, copper) and amino acids. The vitamins found in pollen are also present in bee bread, such as (B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (nicotinamide), B6 (pyridoxine), B8 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12), nicotinic acid, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), pantothenic acid, and to a lesser extent A (retinol), D (ergosterol), E (tocopherol), K (phylloquinone) and rutin). This composition makes bee bread a very healthy addition to your diet. Our bee bread is sourced in the Netherlands or the EU, making it relatively local.
