Honey refractometer Premium (Automatic Temperature Compensation) for determining the moisture content of honey. The refractometer is delivered calibrated in a premium black case and is therefore ready to use. In principle, this refractometer will not need to be recalibrated for the next few years. In the blog we explain how the honey refractometer can be used.
The refractometer is supplied in a protective case with a calibration screwdriver, a bottle of calibration oil and 1 pipette. The honey can also be placed on the prism with a plastic spoon. Specifications: 58-92% Brix (accuracy: approx. 0.50% Brix*), 38-43 Be (accuracy: approx. 0.50% Baumé - Be), 12-27% water (accuracy: approx. 1% water). Also suitable for other products to determine sugar/water content, such as jams.
* Brix is a measure of the sugar content of a liquid and indicates the mass percentage of sugar in the liquid.
