Spaarkast beehive made of yellow painted polystyrene from the BeeFun® brand. The ideal 11-frame beehive for the beginning beekeeper who wants to start beekeeping with this hive. The BeeFun beehive is ready to use and painted yellow. It is a completely redesigned model and has many advantages over the classic Segeberger. This beehive is made of polystyrene and has a density of 160g/liter. This dense compression of the BeeFun polystyrene Spaarkast beehives ensures a sturdier beehive than, for example, the Segeberger beehive. This compression makes the hives extremely robust. Additionally, they are generally even lighter than the Segeberger beehives due to their smart design. The insulating capacity is also excellent.

In addition to this beautiful beehive, you will also receive a handy hive record card for keeping track of your bee colony data.
Please note: it may occasionally happen that the top bar of your hive frames is a millimeter too long. You can easily solve this by sanding/sawing the top bar of the frames slightly. The maximum length for the top bar in this beehive is 43.3 mm.
