Segeberger Wärmemeister 230V

This Segeberger bottom 230V/50W with a built-in heating element is digitally controllable from the outside. You can adjust the temperature through an adjustable thermostat. By combining this bottom with 2 hulls and a roof you can easily make your own heat cabinet and heat honey. Here you can hang windows or put a honey bucket in it and control the temperature inside the cabinet yourself. This heating cabinet can be used for Simplex windows as well as German Normal windows.

How does it work?

Above the wärmemeister bottom, place an empty hull (it serves as a buffer), above that place a hull with windows (honey and brood chamber windows are possible). Then close the hive with a lid.

We recommend that you set the thermostat at 25°C and leave the cabinet for a few days. This will allow the honey to warm up as naturally as possible. Once the honey is at temperature, you can start unsealing and swigging.

When decrystallizing, the temperature can be set higher preferably no higher than 45 degrees.
