Dathe pipe (small)

This 8 cm-tall Dathe pipe is made of aluminium. The advantage of a Dathe pipe, compared to a smoker, is that your hands are free while working your bees. A pipe-hole leather grommet and cork sleeve can be ordered separately. A small Dathe pipe weighs about 150 grams.

By sewing two pipe-hole leather grommets together with the mesh in between, fitting is easier and the opening for the Dathe pipe is sturdier in use.
