Dadant Blatt plastic beehive white 10/12-frame

Beautiful beehive for Dadant Blatt frame size. These beehives are made of high-quality plastic, comparable to the Segeberger but much stronger. This makes them sturdier than the Segeberger hives but similar in weight. Ideal for beekeepers who work with Dadant Blatt.

The space in the hive is 397mm. We sell Hoffman frames of 35 to 37 mm. Depending on these frames, the hive fits 11 or 10 frames. It's possible to fit 12 if you use a narrower size. This doesn't affect the functioning of the hive or beekeeping. For example, a Spaarkast has 10 frames and a Segeberger often has 11 frames with identical frame size.

The hive consists of:

• a roof
• two honey supers
• Middle board with 7 ventilation openings and 8 flight entrances
• a brood box
• a bottom board
