Dadant Blatt plastic beehive white 10/12-frame

Beautiful beehive for the Dadant Blatt frame size. These hives are made from high-quality plastic, comparable to the Segeberger but much stronger. This makes them sturdier than Segeberger hives yet similar in weight. Ideal for beekeepers working with Dadant Blatt.

The internal width is 397mm. We sell Hoffman hive frames from 35 to 37 mm. Depending on these hive frames, the hive takes 11 or 10 hive frames. It may also take 12 if you use a narrower size. This does not affect the performance of the hive or your beekeeping. For example, a spaarkast has 10 hive frames and a Segeberger often 11 hive frames, and the frame size is identical.

The hive consists of:

• a roof
• two honey supers
• Intermediate floor with 7 ventilation openings and 8 entrance holes
• a brood box (brood chamber) 
• a floor
