3-frame plastic hive box (size Dadant Blatt brood box) made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), the material also used for Segeberger hives but pressed to a higher density. The Dadant boxes have a plastic rim, making them extremely sturdy yet lightweight thanks to the EPS. The ideal hive for beekeepers who use Dadant Blatt or prefer a larger frame size. This box is supplied painted in green.
