Bee smoker Medium Budget model, made of stainless steel with a diameter of 9.5 cm and an overall height of 26 cm. The smoker has a slightly simpler finish than the Deluxe model. Equipped with a protective heat guard. The bellows are made from durable synthetic leather. The interior features a small grate for optimal airflow to the fuel.

How do you light a bee smoker?
Ensure a well-igniting base. First place a wad of paper/dried leaves/pine needles (and optionally a smoker fuel block) in the smoker and light it so an open flame develops, which you build up with the bellows. Gently smother this strong flame with tobacco (or smoker pellets). Keep pumping the bellows well at the start. Especially for smoker pellets you need a really good fire to begin with. Then close the lid and pump regularly to keep the smoker going. The aim is to produce generous amounts of cool, white smoke. Avoid blue smoke; it is too hot, can cause irritation, and may singe the bees’ wings. The herbal tobacco / smoker fuel blocks are a bit easier for beginner beekeepers.
