The ideal 11-window hive for the beginning beekeeper who wants to start beekeeping with this hive. The BeeFun hive is unpainted and can easily be painted any color. It is a totally updated model. This model has many advantages over the classic Segeberger. This hive is made of polystyrene and has a density of 160g/liter. This dense pressing of the BeeFun polystyrene saving hives makes for a sturdier hive than, for example, the Segeberger hive. This makes these hives rock solid. In addition, due to the clever design, they are generally even less heavy than, for example, the Segeberger hives. The insulating capacity is also excellent.
Innovations in design include:

- Additional flight openings and/or ventilation openings (can also be closed)

- Roof has a long eave + feed cutout
- Strips instead of spacers making for easy working

This 11-window hive consists of the following parts:
- 1 Roof with feeding area
- 1 Deck shelf plastic
- 1 Honey chamber with 1 fly opening
- 1 Hatchery with 2 flight openings
- 1 Soil
- 1 Varro salad
- 1 Fly-hole strip
The chambers in this hive have strips instead of spacers. This makes sliding and moving the windows very easy. This hive (interior 39.9 x 43.6) comes out best with Simplex Hoffman windows or Simplex windows fitted with spacers. Furthermore, the brood chamber is equipped with an additional flight opening. This can be opened when the gestation period is good and the bees love to use it. This flight opening can also be closed or put in ventilation position. This hive is supplied unpainted.
