The Topkast Premium BeeFun® with solid bottom is the ideal hive if you want to lift less weight. The large, bottom box can contain the brood nest, eliminating the need for heavy lifting. On top of this, you can place honey supers or other Spaarkast components as desired, allowing you to continue working with your existing equipment! You can finish this hive in your own color using our natural paint.

This Premium wooden beehive is made from the highest quality pine. The corners of the hive are finished to prevent moisture from entering the wood. The solid bottom will keep the bee colony warm and help protect against pests such as ants. There are two iron clamps on each of the long sides to secure the brood box to the bottom.

(The Topkast can also be used in combination with spacing strips and Simplex frames if desired)
