BeeFun® Bee smoker (model) Dadant Deluxe 32 cm

This Dadant smoker from the BeeFun Deluxe series is made of stainless steel, has a diameter of 10 cm and a total height of 32 cm. The smoker is neatly finished and made from very durable materials. This model has a fine-mesh protective cage so the hot parts are hard to touch. In addition, the bellows are made of sturdy yellow synthetic leather. Inside, a small grate ensures optimal ventilation of the fuel. 

How do you light a smoker?
Ensure a good, easily ignitable base. Start with a wad of paper/dried leaves/pine needles (and optionally a smoker fuel block) in the smoker and light it so an open flame forms. Use the bellows to build the flame. Gently smother the flame with tobacco (and/or smoker pellets). Keep pumping the bellows well at the beginning. Especially with smoker pellets you need a really good initial fire. Then close the lid and pump regularly to keep the smoker going. The herbal tobacco and smoker fuel blocks are a bit easier for beginner beekeepers. The aim is to produce generous amounts of cool, white smoke.
