The ideal packaging for 3-frame nucs and miniplus hives etc. The sugar paste consists of an ideal mix of sugars for bees so they consume it steadily. The sugar paste is firm enough that it doesn't run out of the bag. The composition is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict regulations for human consumption. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different composition. A high HMF content is toxic to bees.

You can easily feed the sugar paste to the bees by piercing/cutting an opening in the packaging with your hive tool. Then fold or tear off a plastic tab and place the hole on the feed hole of the crown board.
