The sugar fondant consists of an ideal mix of sugars for the bees so they take it up calmly. The sugar fondant is firm so it doesn't run out of the bag. The ratio is approximately 83.5% sucrose, 3% dextrose, 2% maltose, 11.5% higher sugars. Fondabee is produced in Belgium by Belgosuc under strict regulations for human consumption. Note: cheaper brands sometimes have a different ratio. A high HMF content is toxic to bees. Also available per piece or per box.

You can easily feed the sugar fondant to the bees by poking/cutting an opening in the packaging with the hive tool. Then fold or tear off a plastic tab and place the hole on the feeding hole of the crown board.

This product is equivalent to Ambrosius fondant and Apifonda.
